What Is Your Lip Gloss Color?

Oh the lovely lip gloss! Not as mature and fancy looking as lip stick, but a little fancier than lip balm or chap stick. I have noticed that certain shades look good on certain people. Here are some quick facts before we talk about your lip gloss color!

~ If you have thinner lips, then dark colors make your lips look even smaller. Reds, burgundies, purples, all of those will make your lips look thinner so stray away from them.

~ If you have fuller lips that are naturally colored (a tinted pink or a light red) then light colors will really help you out! Peaches are great, but make sure they are glossy and not to thick. Light pinks are great, but icy colors can make or break an outfit so choose carefully.

~ If you have full lips, but they are not naturally colored, then go for some pastel pinks. Reds are okay, but a pastel pink will really compliment your features.

Basically, if it's not a special occasion, then don't go with dark colors. Stay with neutral, or maybe a pastel pink. Both are great because they can be dressed up or dressed down. Also, if you aren't comfortable with lip gloss, maybe try some lip butter. Its like lip balm and lip gloss combined. I haven't tried it, but I will soon!

Okay, so we are at your lip gloss color. These will help you choose your lip gloss color that looks best on you.

1)
If you have green or blue eyes, blonde hair, and a tan complexion, then go with neutral and pastels. Just be careful if you have on a red or pink accessory, and if you do, then go with a neutral or very light peach.

2)
If you have dark hair and medium complexion (Selena Gomez is a good example), then go with really glossy and light colors. If your lips are thinner, a light pink will give them the illusion that they are fuller.

3)
If you have a very dark complexion, and dark hair, plus dark eyes, don't even go near dark lip glosses. They will not look good. Go with peaches. They are great for a dark complexion.

4)
If you are really pale, with dark hair, then go with a red. BUT, you could also wear a peachy or a neutral, and it will be very complimentary.

5)
If you have blonde hair, but your pale, then go with a rosy color, like a pastel pink.

6)
If you have red/orange hair, then of course neutrals, or light peaches. It is so pretty on that hair color.
